PETTY HEDGE
You are a hedge maze who's sole goal is to make it as difficult to leave as possible.
Originally created for the Weekly Game Jam #191, this is a solo developed game that is still in development. For this project, I implemented A* Pathfinding, designed a procedurally generated maze algorithm, and a wall placement system. All of this together forms a tower defense-like maze builder!


Aurora
What would the world be like if we made our communities safer for individuals to be themselves and express who they are? This game seeks to explore that concept by navigating unsafe spaces in the hopes of making them safe again.
Developed for the 2021 Safe Space Jam by UN Women and Code Covens. I worked on a team of 5 people. For this project I was lead programmer. I programmed character controls, audio management systems, interaction systems, dialogue systems, and a game state manager. I also assisted our UI designer implement their code for our UI systems into the game.


THE SHIFTING EXHIBIT
You are a paint goblin hoping through the paintings of an Art Exhibit. Rearrange the paint to move around and gain different abilities. Developed for the 2020 Playfriends Jam. I worked on a team of 5 people. For this project, I acted as project manager, programmer, animator, and composer. I programmed character controls and an adaptive audio system.


EMOTIONAL RIDE
I managed the production of the project to finish within 24 hours. I designed and animated the characters, objects, and backgrounds. I also implemented an adaptive audio system and created three audio tracks to be used during specific game states.

Hello, I'm Curtis. I am a programmer with one year of experience programming a variety of games in Unity, Game Maker Studio 2, and Twine. I am actively seeking a new opportunity as a junior programmer. I have worked as a programmer for four game jams and several personal projects. I don't like pina coladas, but I do like getting caught in the rain. I don't like walking on beach that much, but I like laying on a hill to watch clouds. I like board games, and can make some devilishly good cookies. Also, I make pizza from scratch regularly. If you hire me all these will be yours and more.
